In the first quarter of 2024, Turkey's communication app landscape saw notable activity across the top 5 applications. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps showed varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users on a unified platform.

WhatsApp Messenger had a dynamic quarter with weekly downloads peaking at approximately 376K during the week of February 12. The app maintained a consistent user base, with weekly active users increasing from around 51.1M at the start of January to about 53.3M by the end of March.

Snapchat experienced a steady rise in weekly revenue, reaching around $20K in the final week of March. Downloads saw a peak of approximately 213K in late January, while active users fluctuated slightly, finishing the quarter at around 17.4M.

Telegram also showed growth, with weekly revenue peaking at about $34K in the last week of March. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a high of around 193K in late January. Active users hovered around 8.9M throughout the quarter.
